When I was diagnosed with Turner syndrome in 1979, I could have never imagined that one day I would be on the TSSUS Board of Directors, as the Director at Large, representing the women of our local communities across the United States who have been diagnosed with Turner syndrome.  I could never even begin to imagine that God had a much bigger picture or plan for me back than I could have foreseen.

Throughout the past 30 years, I have met many wonderful families and gained and made many life-long friends.  The Turner syndrome community is a special community where each member of the community has a special connection to one another.  The girls and women with Turner syndrome are survivors who show a tremendous amount of tenacity throughout their lives, but more than than we are born fighters.  Throughout the past 30 years, I have come to know two well-known pediatric endocrinologists - Ron G. Rosenfeld and Mitch Geffner.  I consider these two doctors my mentors in Turner syndrome.  They know well my dedication to service, but most of all my passion to serving others with Turner syndrome.

Please join me  in spreading the awareness of Turner syndrome throughout the local community as the Southern California Turner Syndrome Resource Group walks on Saturday, May 18, 2019, at Griffith Park, Crystal Pettigrew Section, in Los Angeles.  This walk is to further the research of Turner syndrome, and to spread awareness in the local community.   We have already received a huge interest in this walk and the interest is spreading.  There will be many activities for the girls and their families, so please come and walk with us and spread the awareness of Turner syndrome in the surrounding community,  We thank you in advance for your generous support, and hope to see you there at Griffith Park in Los Angeles on Saturday, May 18, 2019.  Thank you in advance for your donation to the Turner Syndrome Society of the United States.
