Hi friends and family!
We're so grateful for the support AND money we raised in 2023 ($840.50)
the TSSUS hooked Bethanne up with many goodies for the amazing contributions that were made❤️
this year we're excited for another fundraiser to support the Turner Syndrome Society of the US. We will be participating in the chasing butterflies walk in May of 2025 and we hope you will join us!
Bethanne is still just as much a miracle at 2 years old as she was when she took her first breath! On top of that, she has continued to defy odds and is HEALTHY IN EVERY WAY! When I was pregnant, my original OB told me that if I chose life, Bethanne would undoubtedly be delayed and 'different' from other children- he explicitly told me to 'not come and sue him' when this became the case. Rest assured, he is aware of how beautiful, healthy, ADVANCED and PERFECT Bethanne is. I'm so thankful at 22 weeks pregnant I trusted God more than an OBGYN and chose life for Bethanne, and termination for him as my physician. almost Every day I log into various platforms and share Bethanne's story to other women who are pregnant and scared with TS babies and receiving the same “medical advice” as I did.
needless to say, this cause is such an important one to Bethanne and I.
there's still so much to learn about Turner syndrome and according to TSSUS staff, about 50% of money raised will go directly to research while the other half will stay in the local community for local events and to help those in need with co-pays and medical expenses.
Hopefully one day, physicians will know more about Turner syndrome than the parents and girls affected.
Thank you in advance for any donations to this special cause!
